The Divine Reiki

Divine Reiki -- (author- Manoj Kr Bimal, Reiki Grand Master)
Introduction
The word Reiki is a Japanese word derived from two roots: ‘rei’ and ‘ki’.
‘Rei’ means ‘universal’ while ‘ki’ means ‘life force energy’. Thus, Reiki
means ‘universal life force energy’.
Also referred to variously as ‘pran-shakti’ in Indian Yogic literature,
‘chi’ in Chinese, ‘orgone’ in the West, ‘bio-plasma’ or ‘universal energy
field’ by physicists carrying research on the subject, it is also known as ‘touch healing' a person by as it involves holding hands close to his/her body.
Underlying Concept in Reiki:
is that the entire universe is pervaded by this universal energy and is
but a manifestation of it. That is, all matter, whether animate or
inanimate, is made of this energy. When one becomes a channel of this
energy, through a special attunement process in which one’s energy centers are activated by spiritual master or ‘guru’, one can tap into this infinite source of energy. The energy or Reiki is intelligent, self-regulating and, being formless or ‘nirakar’ form, the divine light, the spiritual vibration of creation, the prana-Shakti, is endowed with the capacity to rejuvenate anything. It has miraculous effects in curing both chronic and acute diseases and helps humans in all fields of their lives- spiritual, emotional, intellectual, familial, in career or business alike. In fact, it elevates one’s life as a whole, making no distinction between various man-made compartments of life. Thus, healing through Divine Reiki is healing the whole life environment including all aspects of life – physical/mental health, emotional world, family relationship, livelihood of the person and all others.
A Reiki channel (Reiki Sadhak) can draw the energy and use it for
healing himself as well as others. Since everything is made of energy
itself, even inanimate objects can be treated with Reiki.
